ABOUT

I'm an Emmy award-winning producer-director with over 10 years’ experience making science and documentary programmes for the BBC, Nat Geo, Discovery, Channel 4, Channel 5, Bloomberg and Vice.

I specialise in developing and delivering ambitious first-series projects, often tackling subjects or approaches that haven’t been done on television before.

I’m drawn to ideas that take creative risks, open up new access or find original ways into complex stories.

I research stories, develop ideas, write, shoot, direct and edit. I film with academics, members of the public, high-profile presenters and emerging talent, and negotiate access with everyone from governments to Google. I also plan, risk-assess and shoot in locations ranging from deserts and jungles to data centres and science labs.

I love unearthing fascinating, obscure and profound stories, and finding fresh, dramatic ways to tell them.

My work has covered quantum computing, artificial intelligence, electric cars, deep space, cancer, climate change, archaeology, volcanoes, brain surgery, the banking system, the beauty industry, dissident journalists, plane spotters and more.
